2. What kind of hotel is the Hotel Nobel? Family-run?
Yes, the Nobel Hotel is managed directly by the owners and in 2019 celebrated its 50th year in business. Alba and Marco look forward to welcoming you.
3. Are you on the seafront? In the city center?
Yes, we are right on Gabicce beach in the heart of the town, overlooking the main street which, in the evening, becomes a pedestrianised promenade lined with shops and ice cream parlours.
4. Do all rooms have a balcony and sea view?
All rooms have floor-to-ceiling French windows. Superior rooms have a private panoramic terrace and sea view with gazebo and sun loungers, Nobel Deluxe rooms have a balcony and sea view, Oscar rooms have a balcony and village view, and Grammy rooms have a French balcony from which you can look out and hang your towels and swimsuits.
5. When will I be given my room?
Room keys will be handed over by 1 p.m. Reception opens at 7.30 a.m. If you arrive at the hotel earlier, you can have a coffee with Gianfranco, who will advise you where to park your car temporarily if the parking spaces reserved for you have not been vacated by departing guests (there is a convenient car park at the entrance to the village).
Before 10 a.m., we at reception may still be busy with the departures of guests who have finished their stay and organising the hotel for our arriving guests.
We recommend that you pack a bag with your swimsuits and take advantage of a beautiful day at the beach to get into “holiday mode” right away!
Full board service begins with lunch on the day of arrival and ends after breakfast on the day of departure.
6. How is parking organised?
Your reserved parking space will be available from 12 noon on the day of arrival until 10 a.m. on the day of departure. It is free for guests staying on the Golden package. It costs £10 per day for all other accommodation packages. It is located about 1.5 km from the hotel on the outskirts of Gabicce Mare. It is covered and secure, with a convenient shuttle service that is free for the driver of the car, both to the hotel and to the car park, whenever you need it, 24 hours a day.
7. What time is the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) in force?
The restricted traffic zone is in force from 1 June every day from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Guests who plan to arrive by car after 8 p.m. must provide us with their car registration number so that they can drive directly to the hotel, unload their luggage and then park their car in the car park.
8. What services does the restaurant offer?
Appetisers and vegetables, first and second courses, desserts, both for lunch and dinner, are offered at the ‘OrtodiMare’ restaurant directly by our chefs through our ‘gastronomic carousel’, a buffet that showcases our cuisine!
***Wednesday evening***, the Orto di Mare restaurant will be closed. So everyone is free… to conquer Gabicce, but don’t overdo it!
9. What are the restaurant opening hours?
BREAKFAST: from 8:00 to 10:00 – LUNCH: from 12:30 to 13:30 – DINNER: from 19:30 to 20:15
10. What is MANGIASPIAGGIA?
As an alternative to lunch at our Orto di Mare Restaurant, you can enjoy a different single dish every day + mixed vegetables, water included, from 12:30 to 13:30 at the MAGARI…Beach Bar or directly under your beach umbrella, wearing flip-flops and a sarong.
11. Are you a restaurant for coeliacs?
No, unfortunately we are unable to provide a suitable service.
12. Do you cater for food intolerances?
Yes, you can discuss the recipes on our menus with our chef and maître d’ every day.
13. I have a small child, who will prepare his meals? Can he eat at different times?
Yes, our chefs are available to prepare vegetable broths and purées or any other fresh, salt-free dishes.
14. Do you offer entertainment?
Yes, only on the beach and in collaboration with the lifeguards. The entertainment staff has a very enjoyable programme suitable for children over 4 years old, in the morning and afternoon.
15. How is the beach organised?
We are located directly on the fine sandy beach of Gabicce! We have an agreement with Bagni Valerio and Federico… the best! Umbrellas and sunbeds are positioned at a distance that allows for comfort and privacy.
It is free for those who have booked the Golden Formula. Upon arrival at the hotel reception, you will be given a voucher to leave with the lifeguard, who will assign you a parasol and sun loungers that will remain at your disposal from the day of arrival until the day before departure.
16. How should I organise myself on the day of departure?
We kindly ask you to vacate your rooms by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
You may use the car park until 11 a.m. If you wish to use the car park for the whole day of departure, the cost will be £10.00 (subject to availability).
17. How do I pay for extras?
Extras from the bar and restaurant will be charged to your room and settled with your bill. Drinks served with meals are to be consumed exclusively in the dining room.
18. How can I settle my bill?
We kindly ask you to settle your bill the day before departure between 6pm and 9pm. Please request invoices or personalised bills on the day of arrival.
All types of payment are accepted except Diners and American Express.
